UMW had a great visit to the Salvation Army for their annual field trip. They want everyone to know that this is truly a worthwhile organization and worth any charitable giving. Not a penny iswasted, and they are doing a great job at the 28th Street center.
Please note date for the UMW Christmas party has been changed. The new date is Saturday, December 13th at 1:15 PM. The place will be announced at a later date. Please be sure to change your UMW calendars.
UMW Cookbooks $10
If you have not purchased one of our UMW cookbooks ($10) please do so, and buy some for gifts. Your family members will enjoy having recipes from your church family. We are paying for the cookbooks in payments of 1/3 at a time, the final payment is due 90 days from the original shipment, so we need your help. Sandee Jenkins has arranged for us to share a booth with Contacts at the YMCA Christmas sale at the Trade Center November 6-8, and we need samples of recipes from the cookbooks to give our. Let Sandee know if you are willing to prepare something that can be eaten as finger food.
