_ White Oak United Methodist Church welcomes its newest member Anna Perry. Ms. Perry is the mother of Rob, Katie, Sophie (one of our acolytes) and Ben. Anna has been a regular attendee for some time and she is involved in our Dimensions class on Wednesdays and our Resolutions group. Her kids are fixtures in our youth and Pioneers Club. The Kitchen Committee is hosting a Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper in the Fellowship Hall. Enjoy music, fun and good food before we usher in the season of Lent. Donations will be used to replace kitchen faucets and buy lightweight buffet tables. Come and join us! Our Youth will be holding a St. Valentine’s Day spaghetti luncheon after church on Sunday, February 12th to show God’s love to our members. This is not just for couples—everyone is invited! Our Food Bag Ministry is once again in need of funds to keep going. If you’d like to contribute to this important community ministry, please mark your check with “Food Bags”. Sunday, January 15th, Pastor Amy will be away at Resurrection with the Youth and our special guest speaker will be Rev. Mike Hubble, the Chattanooga District Superintendent. We welcome Rev. It was announced this morning there is a transition in leadership of our youth ministry. Jim and Sandy Cunningham will be leading our youth group until a new youth director is found. Keep our youth in your prayers and to the community we have our doors open for teenagers looking for a place to learn and grow in God.
