About our Children's Ministry

Children are a vital part of the White Oak United Methodist Church family. All children are special in God’s eyes. We care deeply for children in our church and community! We provide a loving, caring environment for newborns through fifth graders. God’s love is shown throughout the children’s department. Our goal is to provide a safe environment where children are taught the Bible, what sin is, and that Jesus died for our sins. We want our children to understand how they can receive Jesus into their heart and live for Him.Kids for Christ is the children’s ministry of White Oak UMC. This ministry reaches out to the children of our community by providing a safe, spirit filled environment where they can learn and grow in God!

Rotational Sunday School Teachers Needed

My how time flies! School is back in session for the year which means the lazy days of summer are gone and the busy holiday season is fast approaching! We will resume with rotation Sunday school this month and we’ve got a few openings for teachers. I’m in need of a teacher for drama, science, and computers? Are you interested? You only have to teach once every 2 months. That’s only 6 times a year! The lessons are easy to prepare, and the kids love them so it’s fun to teach too. Please let me know as soon as possible if you’d like to be a part of this exciting ministry.
