We invite you to Join us Sunday night for our Second Sunday Celebration worship service at 6:00 PM.

Are you new to the faith or, perhaps, did you daydream through Sunday school? Need a refresher course? If so, we need you!

On July 4th, a new Sunday school class will be forming to help introduce Bible basics to those who either have never experienced our well-loved Faith stories or would appreciate a refresher course. This six session circle is open to adults of all ages and stages in their faith journey. We will begin with the most basic Bible question:

What is this book and where did it come from?

Our pastor, Rev. Amy J. Cook, will be facilitating.

Join us for worship and fellowship as our pastor Rev. Amy Cook preaches on "Credentialing". The scripture lesson comes from Galatians 1:11-14. Holy Communion will be observed and we will have special music.

We recognized three great young people today during worship. Kris Kammerdiener, Casey Dircks and Nikita Boyd are members of the class of 2010. A graduates reception was held in their honor where each were given Bibles from the church. We are proud of them and will have them in our prayers as they start a new phase of their lives.

According to UMCOR, there’s a long road to recovery ahead after the recent flooding. In all, 52 counties in Tennessee were affected by the record-setting rains and floods.  Thirty people died and damages are estimated at 1.5 billion dollars. Your contribution will aid the clean-up in Tennessee and other areas affected by spring storms and tornadoes. Join us for worship and fellowship as our pastor Rev. Amy Cook preaches on "Captive Audience". The scripture lesson comes from  Acts 16:16-34. We will be recognizing our high school graduates during the worship time and a reception will be held following the service for the graduates and the church. All are welcome to join us for this special time of honoring our youth for their achievement.

White Oak  UMC seeks a Director of Youth Ministries. This is a 15-20-hour-per-week position which may involve work with recent high school graduates as well.

Candidates must have youth ministry experience; good organizational, communication, and teaching skills; and a valid driver’s license. A college degree is preferred.
