The United Methodist Women have decided to merge two favorite events into one. On Friday, May 11 at 12:00 Noon they will be having their Spring Salad Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall with their very special guests, the Golden Agers group from the Bethlehem Center. They will be seeking table sponsors to decorate the tables along with a contest for best decorated table. Watch for more details! Contact Sandee Jenkins if you are interested in hosting a table. Also, bingo prize donations are needed.

Our annual youth rummage sale will be on May 19, 2011 7am to 1pm. We will have furniture, books, housewares, electronics, sporting goods and more. We will have hamburgers & hot dogs for sale too. This raises money for our youth ministry and activities.

  • Palm Sunday service in the morning at 10:45 AM.
  • Thursday 7:00 PM Maundy Thursday
  • Friday at Coolidge Park, we join area Churches to prayerfully walk the Stations of the Cross. 
  • Easter Sunday Sunrise services with the Red Bank community, 7:00 AM at Red Bank Presbyterian Church on Dayton (about 3 blocks north of Rite Aid).
  • Easter resurrection celebration at 10:45 AM on Sunday right here at White Oak UMC.

Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt is coming Saturday, March 31st from 11AM til 1PM. All children ages toddler–5th grade are invited. We will hide 1,000 eggs, each one filled with goodies, on the church lawn.  Stay for lunch and special prizes. It's going to be lots of fun!

White Oak United Methodist welcomes its newest member Will Rodgers. Will works for a radio station in South Pittsburg where he is a morning show host. He is also a long time friend of Tony and Laura Burgess. Mr. Rodgers has been involved with our congregation for over a year where he sings in the choir and is active in the Bible Basics Sunday school class. We are excited to have Will continue his ministry with us at White Oak.

_ White Oak United Methodist Church welcomes its newest member Anna Perry. Ms. Perry is the mother of Rob, Katie, Sophie (one of our acolytes) and Ben. Anna has been a regular attendee for some time and she is involved in our Dimensions class on Wednesdays and our Resolutions group. Her kids are fixtures in our youth and Pioneers Club. We welcome her into membership and look forward to her role in ministry at Church.
