Youth and Young Adult Camping Trip 08/15/2010
Here are a few pictures from the youth and young adult camping trip the weekend of August 13-15. We had a great time at the KOA Kampground at Trenton Georgia. ![]() White Oak United Methodist Church welcomes our newest members Scott and Jennifer Lavender. They joined the church on Sunday, August 15th. They are the parents of three great kids. The Lavenders live in Red Bank. ![]() Join us for worship and fellowship this Sunday. Our pastor Rev. Amy Cook will be preaching on "Signs, Signs! Everywhere There's Signs!" in our morning worship service. The scripture verse comes from Luke 12:49-56. We welcome everyone to experience Jesus here each Sunday. ![]() Kelly Greene is our new youth director. She brings a wealth of experience in working with youth and children to White Oak UMC. Ms. Greene is a local gal who is a graduate of Chattanooga Christian, Lee University and has achieved a masters from Grand Canyon University. Her full time work is as a teacher at Howard High School. Her father is pastor of The Church of the First Born in St. Elmo where she has worked with youth for many years. Kelly has experience in inner city ministries and has organized camps and after school programs. She is married to Corey Greene who is a native of Columbus, GA and he is a musician. | WOUMC NewsWire
